Over the years of teaching myself I have gathered many tricks and tips from other amazing fibre artists. When I discover another master I take the time to read up all about them and at least look back at their very first posts. My biggest recommendation to you is to do the same. By doing this simple and enjoyable exercise you will learn so much.
Because needle felting is not an exact science you get to develop your very own style and become your own master. As you research this new art form in other masters accounts you will see much inspiration and insight into technique. These are your tools for life and you will post photos and comments that guide future generations of stabbers.
As someone who enjoys to give, this is my highest recommendation. As this gives back more than any other method in my experience. Just remember to thank and honour that master for the gift as this is important for keeping that flow going.
On a lighter note, I recommend you put the band-aids on first, they are great protection!
